Leadership is the key to both inward and outward growth. Having the ability to develop new leaders and deploy them into ministry can allow for people to mature and Christ and quickly reproduce themselves into new leaders. The ability to develop and deploy these new leaders bears a direct correlation on how big a healthy a church can grow. If leaders are not deployed, a church can grow quickly around the personality of one leader, but it cannot sustain that growth if new leaders do not begin to step up and take ownership.
