Description:
Gathering a group of committed people is critical to starting a new church. The church planter alone cannot accomplish the task of starting a church. A core group can grow the effectiveness of the church exponentially early on. It extends the reach of the church into new networks and organizations that can get the work going quickly.
Homework:
In the forum answer the following questions:
- Where are we in the process of enlisting and developing our core group?
- What is the strategy for both enlarging and strengthening the core group?
- What is their level of commitment to one another, the church plant, the vision and values, reaching this ministry focus group, and the developed strategy?
