Caring For Your Flock
When starting a new church, it is likely that if you do everything right, then you will attract people with problems. Jesus' ministry was consumed with people who had real needs and needed help. While gathering crowds and casting vision is paramount in establishing a new church that will last, often the most neglected aspect by church planters is the people that will need genuine pastoral care. While no one person can truly be the pastor of all the people in a church, great leaders will take the responsibility for developing a strategy to caring for people and counseling them through their times of crisis. This class will help leaders to think through how they plan to care for people without being so consumed that it takes away from their need to lead the direction of the church as a whole.
